Verona is preparing to host the third edition of the Agorà Lyric World International Competition, taking place from March 1 to 6, 2027.

This year's competition is dedicated to Maria José Siri, one of the most authoritative voices on the contemporary international opera scene: a regular performer of the great Verdi and Puccini repertoire at the Verona Arena, applauded at the world's major theaters, and awarded the 2017 Opera Oscar.

It is to an artist of this stature that Agorà Lyric World entrusts, for its third edition, the task of inspiring the next generation of opera singers: young performers who, like her so many years ago, are now on the threshold of an international career. An intense week of music, talent, and artistic exchange, open to voices from around the world, with a single goal declared since the first edition: to offer a concrete platform for the careers of young artists and to renew, each year, the profound bond between Verona and opera.
